Currently a 4 star Split AC has iseer value in range of 4.0 to 4.9 while a window 4 star AC has ISEER in range of 3.1 to 3.29. However more strict ratings norms have been notified by Govt. of India so current 4 star AC would soon be considered 3 star if manufactured after 1st July 2022.

Above list is a mix of windows and split AC with both 1ton and 1.5ton model. We expect you to read reviews before buying. For installation most companies charge 500 to 1500 per AC. There are company offers from time to time. Also many AC manufacturer tend to void warranty if installation not done by authorized installer. So better check it before hand and don’t get installed from local or online seller installers.

Windows AC installation is mostly ₹500-1000 range though they charge additional for window cutting , grill cutting/removal or old ac removal. Split AC installation is mostly ₹1000-1500 for both indoor and outdoor unit. outdoor unit stand, hole drilling, old ac removal and extra pipe is extra. installation of outdoor stand is not chargeable extra. Also dirt removal via air compressor and pressure check is a must with split ac installation.
