LG has added few new features in it’s 2024 AC range in India. We will compare if you should buy 2024 models or stick to discounted 2023 models.
LG has introduced new diet mode in 2024 models AC like TSNQ18HNXE here AC consumes just 180-200w(approx) in diet mode. We recommend to run diet mode when sleeping or when only 1-2person in room with minimal door open/close.
All the features of 2023 LG AC models are already included in 2024 models like:
- 6 in 1 convertible mode including AI mode
- Viraat Mode
- 4 way swing
- mute button
- HD filter
- 100% copper coils with black fin protection
- Stabilizer free operation
- 1 yr total warranty
- 5 yr PCB warranty
- 10yr compressor warranty with gas refill if problem arise due to compressor malfunctioning.
So the changes made in 2024 LG AC models in India are:
- Diet mode with lowest power usage at 19% of rated power.
- 2024 LG AC models start with model number “TS”
- 5 star AC split AC 2024 model cooling capacity increased to 5000W from 4600w in 2023 model.
- Outdoor Fin coating changed from black ocean to goldfin+ coating.
- 4 star 2024 model LG AC has same cooling capacity efficiency as last year except these features.
- Similarly no power efficiency changes in 1.5ton 2023 LG AC model.
