According to rural and tier 3 towns users of Bsnl their 4G is working on Band 28 aka 700mhz band. Very less phones support this band on 4G. Most latest 5G phones and old top end phones do support 4g on band 28. This is a clear arbitrary move as why would anyone on 5G handset not prefer on jio’s 5G network instead?
Still after recent post general election recharge price hike we expect many users to switch back to Bsnl as sort of protest. Still can’t understand why bsnl didn’t launched 5G on band 28 and instead changed its band 1 aka 2100mhz currently used on 3G to 4G instead.
