Paytm has opened it’s payment bank service to everyone on beta(test) mode. I think paytm is one of the first digital bank to offer Virtual + physical debit card in rupay variant.
And best part is it is a Rupay Platinum debit card not a classic one.
Following are features of the Rupay platinum Debit Card:
- Two complimentary lounge visits per quarter at selected domestic Airports (Physical card required)
- Personal Accident Insurance Cover worth 2lac
- Unique Concierge Services. Call 1800-26- RUPAY (78729).
- 5% cashback on utility bill payments. Max Rs.50 per month
Out of these point 1 aka lounge access required physical debit card(Rs.100 per year annual fees) to verify at POS terminal of lounge itself. Rest three can be availed with virtual debit card also without paying any annual fees.
While Paytm has yet not(beta) started sending physical card we hope they send same virtual card as shown in pic of a virtual card.
