Mtnl has first time introduced same plan for both Delhi & Mumbai. The plan is same as Bsnl’s 339 with 2GB free data. Problem is Mtnl’s hardly usable network. Where voice call connectivity is scarce leave alone getting good 3G speeds as Mtnl stil doesn’t has 4G service.

MRP Rs.319 2GB per day data + 25minutes per day call to any network + unlimited calls to Mtnl Delhi/Mumbai network. Plan is available for subscription from 1st April 2017 to 30th June 2017.
One must need to sit under Mtnl tower to get decent speed under current state of Mtnl’s network. Mtnl has only 800 towers in Delhi. A major reason for it’s lousy network coverage. Mtnl has embarked a Rs.400cr project to add 1800 towers and upgrade existing 800 to HSPA/3G network with max speed of 21mbps. Mtnl currently supports only 3.6mbps speed on it’s 3G network. Co is facing shortage fund for even day to day working thanks to losses it is faces for last many years when landline lost it charm and Mtnl was unable to catch the rising wave of mobile.
