7 in 1 refers to the 7 convertible mode of Inverter AC where user can control the cooling power of AC.
To maintain the desired room temperature Inverter AC can adjust its compressor speed to vary the cooling power. The convertible mode on these gives user the modes with different preset value to adjust compressor cooling power instead of AC automatically adjusting it. So one can limit AC cooling capacity to 40% of rated cooling power on the 40% mode which is most common among all the different 4in1, 5in1, 6in1 and 7in1 ACs.
For eg in Panasonic 2023 split AC models we have 7 in 1 modes where one can adjust AC cooling power to 7 different settings and save more power.
