Bsnl has announced new broadband plan for Rs.499 per month only. This plan give 2GB data @ 2mbps
then 1mbps unlimited afterwards. The 2GB data is so small that is not worth to even mention it.
So better call this plan 1mbps unlimited which is applicable for home and business users across India.
Name of this plan is BBG Combo ULD 499. It’s a combo plan with voice call rate of Rs1.20 per pulse and Unlimited free calls between 9PM to 7AM (Mon to Sat) & on 24hours (Sunday) to any network in India.
If 1mbps is not enough then one can opt for (Bsnl Rs.1199 2mbps unlimited combo plan) with free unlimited calls all over India all the time.
In comparison to above 499 plan this 1199 plan seems costly however free calls anytime(24 hours) of day justify the price. Still we agree it is costlier for data only users who hardly make any calls.
Further this 499 plan makes all other plans priced above it till 1199 out of line on value front. Seems like Bsnl babus ignore to update price proposition of old plans while introducing the new ones.
More pressure on Mtnl which operates in Delhi and Mumbai to bring it’s tariff inline with competition.
