Airtel has revamped its website completely. Looks more in tune to today’s design now as one can scroll down to all the info n offers in one page instantly. Emphasis this time is on Network the most with open network taking top place. Though Airtel was previously best out of three in network coverage however still that competition is heating up with another 4G operator ready with coverage of most villages & towns from day one.

On website scroll down a little to see myplan on left and direct links to Mobile, Broadband and DTH in right. Good to see reduction in no of click and selection to access the broadband tariff plans. Now just click on broadband and select state to see the tariff plans. Airtel does know which page its customer access the most.

In Myplan the postpaid family option is still not that clear. Zero improvement on details of benefits and charges for addon connections after final selection. Who would give their mobile no to pushy sales team without getting complete info of all the benefits and charges on a single page? Something like critical info summary on single pdf page to save for. Customers are getting smarter and Airtel should take notice with various social media channels options nowadays.

On further scrolling comes various offers for new connections and glad to know Airtel is advertising something about broadband also and not taking it for granted. Little below is customers testimonials from various social media sites which is another affirmation for a change of interactive with customers at social media level.

Last is bundle offers where Airtel is now offering 5Gb additional for each postpaid or dth connection but why left prepaid out? And user management and free wynk music apps all brings a positive change.

Overall I’ll give 8 out of 10 for new website with still a little room for improvement.
