Now Bsnl customers visiting Delhi can use Vodafone Delhi-NCR network instead of Mtnl Delhi. Bsnl done this s it’s customer complain of bad state of Mtnl network in Delhi-NCR.
This shows the bad state of Mtnl network in Delhi. Infact Mtnl never increased no of towers with increasing no of subscribers . They still got same no of Mobile tower as last upgrade in 2003-2004.
Bad news is Bsnl customer have to pay all standard roaming tariff for voice calls as STV won’t working on Voda network. Also data won’t work at all if roaming on Vodafone Delhi network.
As roaming is chargeable Bsnl has made it optional for customers to opt for this. To start using Vodafone Network in Delhi, BSNL Prepaid customer has to send SMS ‘ACT ROAM’ to 53333.
Tariff of BSNL customers Roaming on Vodafone Delhi network are:
- Incoming 45paise per minute
- Outgoing 80p/min local—- 1.15/min std
- Sms @ 25p local/38p national sms
Customer can select Vodafone or Mtnl as per their need by manual network selection.
