Mercusys has launched its wifi-6 based mesh routers in India. If you still don’t know Mercusys is the affordable brand from house of TP-Link available in India and many other countries. With its own website and app for router handling & usage, only the after sales support is handled by TP-Link so its a win-win deal if you get one.
Though Mercusys doesn’t have the latest wifi standards routers so don’t expect a wifi-6e from Mercusys unless wifi 7 is readily available in market. I guess it must be strategy to keep the premium marketshare of parent brand intact. So keeping that in mind after 6+ months of wifi-6e mesh routers launch Mercusys came up with Wifi-6 Mesh routers range named HALO 80X with blistering 3gbps wifi speed which can easily serve the wireless backend of extender mesh node.

Here is a Review from a user
The set up Halo 80X claimed to be very easy to do, and it turned out that it was. All the basic instructions are included in the app for your smart phone so you start by turning off your Wi-Fi from your router. Next, plug in the first unit to your router and this becomes your new Wi-Fi source. All the time you use the app on the phone to follow these steps and set up each unit.
Next, add the additional units one at a time around your home or office.
Again using the app to integrate the next unit to the first one and this creates your network. Next, use the app to set up things like priority of service, this is really useful as you can give some of your devices preferential treatment to the level of signal they get. For example, in the sitting room, our TV gets preference over the majority of the signal strength, and no buffering at all.
All in all an excellent system, easy to set up and the signal strength across the house has been multiplied many times and now with no dead spots. Thoroughly recommended!
