Wifi 6E is Triband series of router based on 802.11XE standard of Wifi. It uses one additional 6-GHZ band for extra low latency and high data throughput. Its best used for gaming and for wireless Mesh capability.
Currently very limited Wifi-6E routers model are available in India. We expect many more to launch in 2023. Still we have selected few best out of them with best performance in long run.

It’s worth noting that while Wi-Fi 6E routers offer improved performance and capabilities, they are only beneficial if your devices also support the Wi-Fi 6E standard. Therefore, to take full advantage of a Wi-Fi 6E router, you’ll need compatible devices that support Wi-Fi 6E.
Basically Wifi 6E = Wifi 6 + 6 Ghz band
So only wifi 6E clients can see 6ghz band of wifi 6E routers. Wifi 6E is best for closed neighborhood areas where too much congestion can be seen on 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands. Other best scenario of Wifi 6E usage is for mesh routers with wifi backhaul here 6ghz band(or 5ghz) whole band can be completely dedicated to backhaul while devices work on 2.4ghz+5ghz band for client communications.

Currently only few models of Wifi 6E router are available where one is standalone router while other is a mesh router formation. We expect Wifi 6E router from Asus and Netgear to launch hopefully soon.
Wifi 6e doesn’t offer speed efficiency. It only opens up a new frequency spectrum (6 GHz) with lots more channels than 2.4 or 5 bringing up effective throughput. So unless you have lots of channel contention in your home it’s not necessarily the improvement unless the wifi 6e router costs almost similar to a WiFI 6 router.
Speed improvements come with WiFi 6 and there are lots of improvements in the technology. 6e gets the same improvements with added benefits of the new spectrum.
So you can look for best Wifi 6 routers also which are more than enough for 90% of Indian home.
