Intel Core i3-7100U 7th Gen Laptops Supports Windows-11?

If your Laptop is equipped with Intel Core i3-7100U Processor then will it be eligible for Windows 11 upgrade?

Few Requirement of Windows 11 needed for your any laptop are….

• Atleast a dual core processor with minimum 1ghz clock speed.
• 4GB or more RAM.
• 64GB or more storage
• UEFI & Secure Boot Bios.
• TPM 2.0 capable.
• Graphics support of atleast DirectX-12 with WDDM 2.0 driver.
• Internet connection and Microsoft account on first time activation.

Unfortunately Intel Core i3-7100U lacks on TPM 2.0 capability and is also not on the list of processor eligible for upgrade. Only core i3 8th gen or later model are compatible for upgrade to windows 11. But still one would receive free upgrades till 2025. So still 3-4 more years of usage for your old laptop.

Though there are few workaround to make your laptop work on windows 11.
