From 1st of march if you have Airtel multi tv or plan to get one then good news. 2nd 3rd 4th connection will cost you Rs.52 per connection each for first 200channels. 1st connection too will cost Rs.130+tax for first 200 channels instead of previous 100 channels.
One can select 200 free or paid channels(cost extra) with Rs.52+tax rental making it very cheap to hold 2 or more Tv. Infact a person can select different channels from main connection depending on his needs. Like Sports & news channel can be availed for family room but entertainment & movie channels can be availed for bed room.
Similarly one can keep FTA channels only for guest room etc. Thus giving user freedom to choose channels according to needs which indeed was idea to bring tariif changes by TRAI. Also not only Airtel … Tata Sky & DishTv + D2h all have same plans.
According to TRAI regulation for multi TV users every child connection must get minimum 60% discount on NCF charged by DTH or cable Tv operator on main connection.
