Rcom would shutdown on prepaid specially 2G services. Would focus only on 4G & 3G services that too on postpaid platform only. For this Rcom plan to shift all postpaid n corporate customers to it’s enterprise division.
For Prepaid customers:
* Porting code would be sent to everyone.
* no sim swap which means anyone who lost sim before 30th Nov may risk losing the no.
* no refund for talktime would be issued so finishing it is customer’s responsibility.
* 30th nov is last date after that services would be shutdown automatically.
So uninor & Tata Docomo mobile brought by airtel.
MTS merged in Rcom & wiped off public operations.
Idea & Vodafone merged into one co.
Aircel is last individual firm left…. also involved in 2G litigation via promoters.
We expect Aircel to be sold or brought by Airtel. Lets see how it goes.
