Amazon.in is taking it’s wallet service seriously recently. It even got investment in wallet service from it’s parent co. In july it gave 10% extra(upto Rs.500) balance and during current independence day 15
% extra (upto Rs.300). Amazon is also making it’s user agree to updated Terms & conditions as now gift card balance & other payment balance are shown separately.
Flipkart is promoting it’s phonepe wallet service for quite sometime now. Paytm which was a wallet service few years back is now a full fledged shopping provider. So all three big e-commerce major are now into payment service & vice-versa.
I think soon bill payment would also be added to amazon pay with loads of offers.
