Airtel reduces infinity postpaid by Rs.300 offers more data

Airtel is now giving additional Rs.300 discount on infinity postpaid plans introduced few months back. Not only that one get much more data now.

• Rs.1199 plan with 1GB data now offers 5GB data in Rs.899 only.
• Rs.1599 plan with 5GB data now gives 10Gb data in Rs.1199 only.
• Rs.1999 plan with 10Gb data now offers 15GB data in Rs.1699 monthly rental.
• Plan 2999 is just Rs.2699 with 30GB instead of 20GB.

Though we still consider these plans to be costly in comparison to Jio postpaid plans. Like Rs.499 from Jio gives 4GB 4G data + 4GB wifi data which can be compared to Airtel 899 plan. I think Airtel introduced these plans to peace it’s postpaid customers who calls customer care asking for a better deal  (comparing it with friends Airtel prepaid unlimited offer which is much cheaper).

I am hoping more cut would be announced once Jio comes out of free data offer period in 2017.
