Small AC are best suited for small rooms or cabin where the space required to install large AC isn’t there.
A 0.75ton Air conditioner is best suited for maximum size of 80sqft rooms. Its smallest size of AC available in India nowadays. For room with direct sunlight or top floor rooms we would recommend you to go for 1ton AC even with upto 80sq ft room.
Both inverter(variable speed) and non inverter ac are available for 0.75ton size. Inverter are little costlier and saves energy if ac is to run for long hours. However for a size of 0.75 ton it won’t matter much.
Now for ISEER , EER energy star ratings the more is better. We recommend to buy atleast a 3 star AC. 5star is a must of AC is to run for atleast 6 hours daily for 6 months a year otherwise recommended.
For Aluminium vs copper we would say copper is easy to repair. Matters more for split AC as leakage problem happens more frequently in split AC as indoor and outdoor unit are assembled/handled by local or co technician who are not trained well in India. For window it doesn’t matter much.
