Rcom has announced a better offer of 0.5GB per day in Rs.99 with 28days. Catch? It’s for new customers only. Not even giving this as segmented offer to existing users. Another catch only for state of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir where Rcom got 3G license.
In other states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (E), Uttar Pradesh (W), Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Chennai same 500MG data is for Rs.49 per month for 2G network only.
Free Rs.20 talktime and 25paise all India call rate with 28days validity for all above offers. No 4G data for any of above offer.
For 4G Rcom introduced separate recharge vouchers Rs.49 for 1GB or Rs.99 for 2GB or Rs.149 for 3GB with unlimited onnet calling, offnet calling rate of 1p/sec valid in all states and circles for both new , existing & mnp customers.
Rcom did introduced unlimited calling plan before for Rs.149 for new customers and Rs.198 for existing customers. However it limited it to onnet calling and limited offnet minutes recently. It seem the co doesn’t want to lose interconnection charge on unlimited plans and wants to target instead lower usage users. This way it would gain more users who receive more incoming calls than outgoing calls.
