Spectra the fiber based broadband provider which was first one to launch 1GBPS broadband plan that too unlimited without any FUP has brought end to this plan.
I think old users would be allowed to continue previous plans till further notice or non continuation. Only new users would be brought to these plans. Even after these changes Spectra is cheapest gigabit broadband provider in India. Though the fair usage policy is very disappointing now.
Not sure if the previous price were intro plans or the network got abused that they thought of increasing the plan price this much. I think with current Jio/Airtel/Bsnl/Voda/Idea 4G daily plans only high end users are opting for fixed broadband plans, making it difficult for fiber broadband providers to attract new users.
