According to Jio Care on Twitter Jio Mifi Device would be available from 16th August 2016 at all Reliance Digital and mini store. He also confirmed in another tweet to customer that no invitation would be needed.

This also confirms Jio commercial launch today on Independence day today. Like in above quote you can see that free 3months trial offer is still available for new device buyers. Some Reliance digital and mini store are already offering these devices without sim which could be availed only from 16th August as sim activation process is not available for general customers.
