Tata Sky to reduce discount on Multi Tv Connection

Come 15th June both primary and secondary connection in Tata Sky multi tv connection would be treated as same. Means no extra discount whatsoever on taking 2-4 connection.

This new policy comes on new instructions from TRAI which says all connection to be treated as separate connection and no discount from broadcaster side for any channels subscribed on both connection.

So Tata Sky is stopping even the NCF charges discount it use to give before. Meaning Rs.130+pay tv channel charges + tax is same in both primary and secondary connection.

Only respite in this is you can select channels individually for each connection. So previous mirroring of packs and channels won’t happen from 15th June 2019.

Now the only advantage left in getting a Tata Sky multi Tv connection is while installation when you save Rs.500-600 on extra dish hardware charges.

Other DTH like Airtel is giving Rs.50 discount on NCF for 2nd , 3rd and 4th connection plus you can select package individually.

D2h n Dish TV also giving discount on NCF charges but packs can’t be selected individually on each connection meaning pack would be same for both channels but child connection would get discount only on NCF not paid channel packs.

Independent TV charges flat Rs.50+tax ncf on every connection. Paid channel packs are to be charged for each connection individually.
