To Activate Airtel 230 channels free to air topup pack send the following sms. In below format customer id is your Airtel DTH customer id followed by 001 for main connection or 002/003/004 for every subsequent child connection. Send it to 54325 or 8800054325.
“ADD VAS00004 Customer ID-001” send to 54325
We’ll you get reply about the pack to be activated soon. Check all FTA channels after 5 mins of set top box standby. We’ll update the FTA channels list soon.
After TRAI new cable/dth tv regime all free & paid channels have same prices on all the platforms.
Here NCF or carriage fees or in simple terms base rental pack need to be paid. Which is max of Rs.153(for 100 channels) and charged almost similarly by all cable tv n DTH operator. Only Independent TV(previously Reliance Big Tv) charges Rs.59 as base fees for primary connection. For child connection mst operators are giving a Rs.50-80 discount.
Now lets come back to free to air channels slowly all operators are reducing prices of NCF for child connection or many are not charging free to air channels. Airtel has gone one step ahead by giving away all 230 free to air channels in one pack.
