Idea Cellular improves network coverage in Delhi after Voda merger

Idea cellular which owns the precious 900mhz spectrum in Delhi is now reaping the benefits of merger with Vodafone by sharing tower with vodafone. Result the 3G 900mhz coverage has improved vastly in Delhi Ncr areas.

Idea was the late entrant in Delhi circle but was not able to cover up with Big Two aka Airtel n Vodafone. Company did tried to catch up by buying 900mhz to increase the coverage. However lower no of tower another factor that din’t let to increase the coverage. Locking to jinx where revenue never came due to lower coverage and lower coverage never ever invited high usage customers. Finally banking on Voda high tower ratio on single tendency idea is cutting the cake and hopefully eat it too when Delhi users comes aware.
