Airtel has started a new trend of recharge STV with caller tunes rental built in. Customer would find it rather convenient rather than paying from main balance. Two new STV recharge from Airtel offers caller tunes for 28days and 180days. Rs.147 STV recharge would entitle user for a 6months of caller tunes while Rs.45 STV would give only 28days of callertunes.
Currently Jio offer jiotunes completely free for now however faqs according to Faqs it may not remain free always like voice calls. Bsnl on other hand has launched new Rs.187 STV which gives free ringback tunes for 28days along with data & calling benefits.
We think eventually, it would turn out to be another thing that Airtel/Idea would be forced to offer free like they did for outgoing roaming calls and sms.
