Vodafone has launched a new pack for low usage customers called Chotta(small) Champion Pack.
Mrp of pack is Rs.38 – 41 (vary acc. to state) which gives 100 voice minutes + 100MB data valid for 28days.
This pack is definitely to stop churn of low users. Vodafone is slowly losing broadband subscribers to other operators as it lack 4G coverage out of major urban areas. Vodafone & Idea are about to be merged and currently expanding 3G/4G network in a joint move to not overlap each other. Both plans to offer intra circle roaming on each other network till merger is pending.
Jio has no plans for low end customers at casual rates. Rs.149 recharge which is minimum for 28days(lower plan recharge have less validity & would cost you more on monthly basis). In Jio even if you recharge for Rs.10 top-up then also you won’t be able to make an outgoing call from talktime at base rate. This talktime is for international sms, roaming, isd calls or any other stuff not included in regular plan recharge.
This chotta champion pack is good for all those users who don’t want to recharge that much.
