Pre-bookings of Reliance Jio ‘s 4G VoLTE capable JioPhone had crossed the 3.5 Million Mark last night. And this is just the first day of booking.
So mad was rush that 5 minutes before the booking start time of 5:30pm the jio.com site stopped loading. Myjio app on both android & ios thru which booking can also be done crashed too many times.
Infact this trend continued for next 3-4 hours. Only after 10pm it started behaving normally. Though myjio app behaviour was not normal even by then.
Jio has started a new trend in feature phone market with this 4G phone. Before this it was difficult to find even a 3G feature phone is the market.
Airtel is said to be launching a bundled 4g+3G feature phone in Rs.2500, we are eagerly waiting for that too.
