Update: Airtel is now showing 1GB/day anytime data in Rs.345 however free calls is reduced to Airtel mobile only. As tariff are not mentioned on their website trust factor is less as they keep changing the offers without any notice. No guarantee if they would continue to offer it for next 12-months or not.
Airtel has launched an array of new recharge to compete with Jio prime membership offer. While the 2GB recharge is surprise one however it still lack calling part as Jio prime offers calls to all network free. Rs.345 with half day and half night is less than Vodafone recent offer. Rs.799 with 2GB per day data is 60% costlier than Jio Rs.499 offer. Roaming is another part where Jio prime offer is better while we where expecting unlimited roaming calls included in all unlimited calls voucher from 1st April 2017 when airtel announced death of roaming, Airtel here also setback it’s customers with Rs.799 as min recharge to enjoy free roaming calls.

- New Rs.999 STV offers 3GB anytime data per day + unlimited local/std/roaming calls to any network in India.
All these recharge offer if subscribed by 31st March’17 assures continuity of 1 year till 31st march 2018.
