Govt. of Goa under digital initiative is providing youth aged 16-30 free data and voice call every month.
Youth residing in Goa having aadhar card with Goa address can register with Vodafone to avail this offer.
Free 3GB 2G/3G/4G data + 100 minutes of calls per month.

Goa has around 1.25 lakh youth in this age range. Govt will pay Vodafone Rs.125 per month for each registered user. Vodafone has outbid Jio and Idea to win this tender. Initiative under Goa Yuva Sanchar Yojana. Any misuse of freebies may led to discontinuation of free services.
Very good initiative and we think other state Govts should do same for youth in their states as better data/broadband connectivity put positive imapact on GDP/income-level as found from survey/research data of many countries.
