Hdfc Bank has re-introduced reward points in promo offer for all fuel transactions done on Hdfc Card machine at BP(Bharat Petroleum) petrol pumps. Best part is rewards are 5 times this time. However it’s a limited period offer from 1st Oct 2016 to 31st Mar 2017.
Hdfc Bank few months back stopped reward point on fuel transaction. Then it was giving reward point on petrol pumps any oil marketing co whether it is IOCL, HPCL or BPCL. Whatever maybe the reason true credit card users adapt to reward structure and vary their spending.
Hdfc also doesn’t refund service tax on fuel surcharge waiver which other bank like Citibank do. Meaning consumer is paying from own pocket on using hdfc card at fuel stations. Now whatever forced Hdfc bank to bring back this offer(maybe customer stopped using it completely as most people carry 1-2 card) we hope this offer or normal reward point would remain there forever even if only on HPCL Bunkers.
