Mtnl has waived Rs.300 for adsl registration charge for customer who opts for new adsl broadband connection in Delhi area. Further Rs.500 for new telephone line registration is waived if customer doesn’t opt for landline instrument. Also on opting the modem or wifi router on rent from Mtnl the initial deposit is also waived.
This offer is valid for 3 months from 15th August 2016 the Indian Independence day as a gift to new users.
Mtnl gives free installation offer from time to time. However recent one seems more to tackle slow uptake of new connections in recent months. Infact more people surrendering their connection all together as recent Jio 4G preview offer is avaialble as alternative to many subscribers whose only option was Mtnl before.
Though this offer won’t help Mtnl in gaining customers. Mtnl further needs to offer better vdsl/adsl plans along with training to its staff to handle (internet on copper) queries better. Their staff must have complete info about adsl/vdsl technical details and line condition to tackle the customers.
