Mtnl Mumbai a day back completely overhauled its broadband plans offering.
Bad news is plan below Rs.1500 got post FUP speed of 512kbps instead of standard 1mbps previously.
Good news is that same plan can be availed on different speeds however higher speed gives lower pre fup quota.
Though the rates seem to be higher but good thing is that this rationalization would reduce consumers among Mtnl triband users in Mumbai. Recently broadband market is getting really competitive so good to see some changes brought in here. Though would love to see 2mbps plan getting reduced completely and plan based on quota only. Max feasible speeds should be given to everyone like the developed countries follow.
