Hdfc Bank credit card charges Rs.199+gst as processing fees for all type of emi transaction done.
Axis Bank credit card charges 1% of transaction amount as processing fess for any emi transaction done.
From 1st Dec 2021 SBI Cards too will charge Rs.99+gst as emi processing fess.
This processing fees will be applicable on both offline and online transactions including no cost emi done on amazon.in, Flipkart.com, Tata cliq.com, Paytm app or any other ecommerce transaction.
Previously RBI barred credit card companies from offering zero interest emi offers where processing fees was high and completely banned any kind of processing fees. But when this rule was removed can’t find. As from past few years these credit card cos are again charging processing fees. While we have to still have to pay GST component on interest for fake zero cost emi offers.
